The Movement Hub is a place where movement matters. We recognise that everyone is individual, and this means, as part of our ‘Hub Community’, you’ll be treated like one. Our training, manual therapy, movement coaching and nutrition services are all bespoke, all designed to work for you, to get you to where you need to be. We make sure that all our Services are educational, helping you to gain long-term, lasting results and to take ownership of your continuing progress.

We’re huge fans of doing things right

We’re not in to fads, we’re not in to ‘detoxing’ and we don’t recommend products or services that we don’t believe in 100%. We sometimes recommend tools and also work with others that we know will help you get to where you need to be.

Movement Coaching

Whether you’re looking for a PB in your sport, or whether you’d simply like to move more efficiently, our Movement Coaching sessions will help you gain the edge that you need to improve your overall function. We assess your movements via various methods such as: biomechanics coaching, video analysis, and technique analysis and show you how to gain the best out of your body by prescribing simple exercises for you to work on.

Osteopathy

Finding the right therapist for your needs is crucial. Luckily, our very own ‘Hub Honcho’ Chris Kitson is a registered Osteopath. Chris understands active people, and what their body needs to be able to deal with in order to keep them pain free, and performing whatever activities they need to. Chris understands that there’s more to rehabilitation than stretches and thera-band exercises, and provides an up to date evidence-based approach to getting back to where you need to be.

Sports Massage

Our hands-on soft tissue treatments help you prepare and recover from sporting events, or can be simply used to ease muscle tension, helping you move more freely. Many of our Personal Training clients structure soft tissue work in to their monthly programming which helps them keep moving freely, whilst keeping day to day muscular tension down to a minimum. This also helps them increase their range of motion, aiding performance in their training.

Kim Tomlin
Movement Coach
Fitness, Health and Well-being Coach

Kim started in the Fitness Industry in 2011. She entered the Industry at an age a lot later than most, having had a very successful career in the public and private sector, as well as running her own business before retraining as a Personal Trainer. As a ‘mature’ student with an already well-equipped business acumen Kim was driven to learn and be as good as she could within an industry that has the ability to change lives for the better.

Kim started her movement enthusiasm through Primal Flow and later Biomechanics Coaching and continues to delve in to human movement and it’s wonders! Kim’s primary client base are those who want to improve their lifestyle, to remain active and feel more confident in the way the look and feel. Not all changes are on the outside either!

Chris Kitson
Osteopath
Performance Coach

Chris has spent the past 9 years in the health and fitness industry developing his Personal Training background, whilst working as a Specialist Biomechanics Coach, and gaining a Masters Degree in Osteopathy.

His therapy and coaching backgrounds provide a solid knowledge base in both the exercise and therapy worlds, and how they integrate to provide the best for the client/patient. As a competitive triathlete himself, his primary client base includes: cyclists, runners, and triathletes. Having worked with numerous GB level athletes, Chris understands the stresses that are involved in top level sport, and helps develop strategies to aid performance.

Between us, we have decades of experience in the health and fitness industry. We’ve ‘been there, done that’ many times and know what works, and what doesn’t. We are extremely driven and have our client’s and patient’s best interests at heart. We also teach in our retrospective subjects for numerous companies, and spend countless hours on continued professional development every year. Simply put, you can place your trust in us. Movement is important to us and we are making it our mission to educate the nation!
